First Post!!

Well here goes, this is my first blog and I don't have much of an idea what I should write. I'm sure I've got plenty of useless ramblings I could put up but I don't think many people would want to read those! A little bit about me would be a good starting point, I'm a single SAHM to a gorgeous little boy who's going to be 3 end of July it all goes so quickly! I'd love another but got to find myself a decent guy first.....do they exist? I've got a basic knowledge of sewing, knitting and crochet which amongst other more mundane things are the things which stop be from going mad being at home all day.

Well I've done Little Lady's Birthday present all finished and waiting to be wrapped, I'm rather chuffed with it and I've even been told it's something that a couple people would even pay for. I'm working on another one for friends little girl as a birthday present, hope its liked as much as this one!

Never know if my soft furnishing idea doesn't take off then I might start an Etsy account. As no one really knows my soft furnishing idea I suppose I should elaborate a little bit, well I'm taking an evening course on soft furnishings which I'm loving the only problem so far is my sewing machine.......needs a service but I can't afford £80+vat!! Not having a working sewing machine is putting me behind a little bit and I'm working twice as hard in class so I can get all the machine work out the way.

Anyways my idea is turning it into a business need to try and earn some money some how if I can't get work. I'm going to go on as many courses as I can afford or find funding for to broaden my skill base. I was thinking after doing the level two and three for the soft furnishing I might even do the upholstery one, maybe interior design, embroidery is tempting too but think that might be something I can just teach myself at home.

Well I guess for a first post this is probably enough to bore you for now so watch this space :o) x
